New Medical Protection appointment to expand Hong Kong presence

Medical Protection, the world’s leading protection organisation for doctors, dentists and healthcare professionals, is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Medicolegal Consultant dedicated to supporting Hong Kong healthcare professionals.

Dr Cheng is an experienced doctor who has developed a wealth of knowledge on risk prevention. For the past 10 years, Dr Cheng has been an educational presenter in Hong Kong for the Medical Protection Education Faculty.

Prior to joining Medical Protection, Dr Cheng worked extensively in medical groups, and he will continue to practice part-time while supporting the profession in his new role.

Dr Cheng will be dedicated to supporting members and protecting the interests of healthcare professionals in Hong Kong. As well as being a first point of contact for members, he will provide members with expert assistance in managing cases and claims against them.
