Developing exceptional people – at every stage of your career
From personalised objectives to access to a wide range of resources and training, we want our people to be able to keep pace with the world. Your development is in your hands, supported by your manager and our team of learning and development specialists.
With access to LinkedIn Learning available to all colleagues, you can invest in your skills and knowledge at your own pace and at the time that works for you. Whether you’re hoping to upskill in your existing role, or learn new things, you’ll have the resources and the support to make a start.
And there are more formal opportunities for training and development for every role, which you’ll regularly discuss with your manager, including professional qualifications if that’s what’s right for you.
Settling in – your first 100 days
Starting in a new organisation is a challenge. There’s so much to learn about your new organisation, even if you’re already an expert in your profession.
So you’ll benefit from a structured induction programme for your first 100 days to help you navigate your way around MPS. You’ll meet key people, find out more about the shape and structure of the organisation, and be supported to feel like part of the team from the start.
If you’re joining our contact centre, there’s a dedicated induction covering all you need to know, coupled with comprehensive training to help you develop the knowledge and skills to provide world-class service to our members and to quickly feel like you’re succeeding in the role.
MPS is proud to be part of the Circle Back Initiative, committing to respond to every applicant.
