The Medical Protection Society Limited (“MPS”) is the world’s leading protection organisation for doctors, dentists and healthcare professionals. Membership provides access to expert advice and support together with the right to request indemnity for any complaints or claims arising from professional practice.
Our in-house experts assist with the wide range of legal and ethical problems that arise from professional practice. This can include clinical negligence claims, complaints, medical and dental council inquiries, legal and ethical dilemmas, disciplinary procedures, inquests and fatal accident inquiries.
Our Insight, Proposition and Retail Pricing (IPRP) Department has a requirement for an Insight Data Analyst, on a permanent contract, based in our Leeds office.
As an Insight Data Analyst you will create, manage and share analytics which track and highlight changes in our membership and markets. Working closely with the wider IPRP teams this role will provide actionable insights to guide planning and strategy development across the organisation.
In addition you will contribute to campaign execution through targeted data selections, response analysis and reporting. Sourcing, developing and maintaining accurate and timely data on MPS membership is a crucial aspect of the role.
In order to be considered for the role, candidates will preferably be degree educated, with qualifications in either Business or Marketing, however, this is not a prerequisite for the role.
Experience of transferring statistical information into clear, actionable insight and driving this through a business to aid in decision making is essential, along with the ability to understand issues, consider and outline a range of alternative innovative solutions or proposals.
Importantly you must be skilled in collating and analysing information from a variety of sources and providing succinct and robust output, coupled with a strong attention to detail.
