Recorded webinar: GP teams – the good, the bad and the ugly (NZ)

  • Dates: 30 – 30 Sep, 2020

Date recorded: Wednesday 30 September 2020
Suitable for:
NZ GP Medical Protection members

In A Tale of Two Cities, Charles Dickens wrote … “it was the best of times, it was the worst of time…” and when applied in the context of teamwork, his words ring true. When teams function well, work can be a real joy, even amidst the chaos of COVID-19. However, when teams are dysfunctional, it may be a struggle to get out of bed in the morning.

Join Medical Protection’s Medical Advisers Dr Samantha King and Dr Tim Cookson for a one-hour recorded webinar exploring the benefits of a positive team environment. Using real case studies, Dr King and Dr Cookson will discuss potential risks of dysfunctional teams and share practical strategies for building a healthier team culture within a work place.

Webinar objectives
  • Understand the benefits of good teamwork and learn about the impact of dysfunctional teams from real case examples.

  • Learn practical ways to build a healthier team culture and understand regulatory expectations.

  • Gain a greater understanding of vicarious liability and the possible consequences.
