We are seeking a career interim or immediately available accountant who can hit the ground running and provide an extra pair of hands for a 3 month period during our busy year end period.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of annual statutory financial statements
- Liaison with the auditors, responding to queries and managing requests and responses
- Carry out a variety of financial duties associated with the month end and year end preparation
- Balance sheet reconciliations and financial reports such as balance sheet risk reviews
- Identification of areas for improvement in efficiency and for accounting procedures
- Assist with technical accounting queries raised by the businesses in an accurate and timely fashion
The role requires a qualified accountant (ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA or equivalent) with a proven pedigree in working in a high performing accounts function. This is predominantly a Year End role working to support on a number of tasks to a high standard in partnership with the internal accounts team and external accountants.
