If an adverse incident occurs under a Patient Group Directions (PGD) arrangement, Medical Protection’s GP partners can request assistance on an Extended Liability basis. Requests for assistance will be considered if the following steps have been taken: Verification of training and competence, eg through obtaining certificates of competence from existing employers.
