Dr Pallavi Bradshaw returns to Medical Protection Society as Medical Director

Medical Protection Society (MPS) – the world’s leading medical defence organisation which protects and supports the professional interests of more than 300,000 healthcare professionals - has announced the appointment of Dr Pallavi Bradshaw as Medical Director.
The appointment follows the recent promotion of the former MPS Medical Director, Dr Rob Hendry, to Chief Member Officer.
The Medical Director role at MPS leads engagement with healthcare leaders and champions the interests of healthcare professionals across the globe.
Dr Pallavi Bradshaw graduated from St Catharine’s College, Cambridge, and trained at Addenbrooke’s Hospital as an ophthalmologist before joining MPS in 2007. She spent over 14 years at MPS supporting doctors in series of senior strategic roles. She is currently Medical Director at AXA Health, providing support and leadership across the business with a particular interest in medicolegal matters, patient safety and women’s health. She has over 20 years’ experience in global healthcare and supports the development of AXA Health’s external policy, engaging with stakeholders and media.
Dr Bradshaw has completed post graduate studies in medicine, law and business, including an MBA, and undertaken Executive Education at Harvard Business School. She is also a Fellow of the Faculty of Legal and Forensic Medicine.
Commenting on her appointment, she said: “I am absolutely delighted to be returning to MPS, an organisation close to my heart. I left clinical practice with the ambition to support my peers and colleagues. I am honoured to take on this role to represent members and their interests across the world in an ever evolving and challenging healthcare environment.”
Dr Rob Hendry, Chief Member Officer at MPS, added: “I couldn’t be more pleased to welcome Dr Pallavi Bradshaw back to MPS, as Medical Director. Pallavi brings a wealth of medicolegal knowledge as well as extensive experience in the health insurance industry. She is passionate about the future of healthcare and understands the importance of professional protection in an increasingly complex clinical landscape.

Dr Bradshaw will start her new role at MPS in early 2026.
