Our members always come first, receiving outstanding advice and support from the largest medicolegal team of any medical defence organisation. We know it’s a difficult time to be a GP, and that’s why we’re always by your side, fighting your corner whenever you need us.
We have two dedicated relationship managers for primary care in the UK, Alison Mee and Derek Palmer. Both have extensive knowledge of the different memberships we offer GPs, and how these can be tailored to your circumstances. They also have a thorough understanding of the medicolegal challenges members face, with substantial experience delivering talks and training about indemnity and medicolegal risk management.
Alison joined Medical Protection in 2015 and is the Relationship Manager for GPs and GP practice groups in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Derek has had a diverse career that includes building successful financial planning businesses and running his own personal development and coaching consultancy.
If you are interested in joining Medical Protection, Alison and Derek would be delighted to hear from you. They can help you:
