Dr Nav Chana, GP and chair of the National Association of Primary Care

Nav Chana is a GP at the Cricket Green Medical Practice, where he’s been practicing for 25 years. He’s also the chairman of the National Association of Primary Care where he co-led the development of the primary care home model, one of the new care model programs endorsed by NHS England.

Nav’s varied career has seen him undertake various roles in healthcare education. Most recently, he acts as the clinical adviser for the workforce stream of NHS England’s New Care Models Program and continues as an adviser to Health Education England. Prior to these endeavours, he spent time as a director of education quality for Health Education South London and preceding that, the postgraduate dean for General Practice and Community Based Education from 2010.
