Executive Director, International
Allison brings over 25 years of health, financial services and insurance experience to MPS and she is responsible for all aspects of international activity and international members.
Prior to joining MPS Allison led the development of Skanska’s Health & Care Strategy in the UK and was a member of Skanska’s Global Centre of Health Excellence leadership team.
As Global Delivery Director, Population Health for Aetna International, Allison led Aetna’s growth and implementation activities across a number of Global territories. Her responsibilities also included leading on, and consulting on, delivery of large population health systems and programmes for government and large corporate customers. This included leading the completion of a bid across three organisations through to implementation of a new National Health & Social Insurance Scheme for Qatar. For this Allison was awarded The Aetna Chairman Award for Excellence in 2014.
Prior to joining Aetna she worked at Executive & Director level in both Global Health & UK financial service companies including Optum, Legal & General, BUPA, UK National Health Service & Nuffield Hospitals.
At Legal & General, Allison’s portfolio included Private Health Insurance, Life, Pension, Motor and General Insurance Propositions and Operations. Allison then went onto be Commercial Director for the Legal & General/Barclays Alliance.
As Head of Healthcare Strategy and Development for BUPA, Allison led a number of functions responsible for managing and coordinating the care and benefit spend of 5 million Bupa members .
Internationally Allison has experience working in Qatar, KSA, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Asia, USA, Australia, and Europe.
In addition to her MPS responsibilities, Allison is a Public Member of NHS Choices.
Allison has an MBA, an Advanced Diploma in Managed Care, is a LEAN Champion and has completed training in Flawless Execution in Fast Time & Agile Thinking. At Harvard Business School she studied Customer Service as a Business Strategy and Business Innovation in Global Health. Allison is clinically qualified.
