Our in-house experts assist with the wide range of legal and ethical problems that arise from professional practice. This can include clinical negligence claims, complaints, medical and dental council inquiries, legal and ethical dilemmas, disciplinary procedures, inquests and fatal accident inquiries.
As the Test Manager you will lead and support the Test team who are responsible for the successful system, performance, user and operational acceptance testing of all MPS in-house developed software applications, and the user and operational acceptance testing of 3rd party software implementations.
This is a key role with our IT department and as the Test Manager you will drive and govern the software testing and application support functions throughout the organisation.
Additional responsibilities include the management and support of the Test team, including coaching, mentoring and performance management of individuals. Continual process improvement and evaluation of projects where the Test team is involved; the investigation and evaluation of up-coming trends, tools and techniques within the software testing industry which might be successfully applied to MPS.
Successful applicants will ideally possess over five years of software testing experience, including strong hands-on skills. Previous management experience is highly desirable, with previous coaching or mentoring of team members a basic requirement for the position. Strong communication skills are a necessity, coupled with the ability to work autonomously and to tight deadlines.
Knowledge of MS SharePoint and MS Dynamics CRM are a distinct advantage, along with knowledge of ITIL governance and processes also highly sought after.
