The Medical Protection Society Limited (“MPS”) is the world’s leading protection organisation for doctors, dentists and healthcare professionals. Membership provides access to expert advice and support together with the right to request indemnity for any complaints or claims arising from professional practice.
Our in-house experts assist with the wide range of legal and ethical problems that arise from professional practice. This can include clinical negligence claims, complaints, medical and dental council inquiries, legal and ethical dilemmas, disciplinary procedures, inquests and fatal accident inquiries.
Our Communications Department is looking to recruit two Digital Communications Editors on a permanent basis, based in our Leeds office.
Our Digital Communications team work across two brands in the UK and internationally and this represents a fantastic opportunity to lead on a variety of campaign work and organisational initiatives.
As a Digital Communications Editor you will embrace change and innovation, and look at ways of adding value, insight, performance and efficiency across our campaigns. Campaigns consist of a mixture of B2C engagement, acquisition and retention, as well as PR and lobbying activity also.
Key responsibilities of the role include maintaining and updating CMS based websites, email marketing communication including development of triggered and automated campaigns and PPC search and display advertising. Additionally there will be a strong focus on analytics implementation, reporting and optimisation.
In order to be considered for the role, candidates must possess demonstrable experience of digital communications delivery within a corporate environment and ideally be degree educated, although this is not a prerequisite. You must possess strong communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
Knowledge of CMS and email marketing platforms/software is required along with basic HTML. Experience and knowledge of Google Analytics, Adwords and associated research and monitoring tools, as well as SEO on page/on site are highly desirable.
