Our in-house experts assist with the wide range of legal and ethical problems that arise from professional practice. This can include clinical negligence claims, complaints, medical and dental council inquiries, legal and ethical dilemmas, disciplinary procedures, inquests and fatal accident inquiries.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Content & Communications Editor to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract, based in our Leeds office.
As a Content & Communications Editor you will work within the Content and Messaging team to create and edit engaging and high quality content in line with MPS’s strategic goals.
You will be responsible for creating content for our website, publications and regular e-bulletins; as well as editing and proofreading copy to ensure quality, accuracy and appropriate style.
In addition, you will also support with the creation of member-facing messaging and content when needed.
In order to be considered for the role you must possess demonstrable experience of creating original and engaging content aligned to strategic goals, as well as experience of writing for digital media, which is essential.
Preferably you will be degree educated with a relevant qualification in journalism or related discipline, although this is not a prerequisite, coupled with excellent proofreading and copy-editing skills. Importantly you must have the ability to engage with material for a variety of audiences.
