Our in-house experts assist with the wide range of legal and ethical problems that arise from professional practice. This can include clinical negligence claims, complaints, medical and dental council inquiries, legal and ethical dilemmas, disciplinary procedures, inquests and fatal accident inquiries.

Our Professional Services Division has a requirement for Case Managers to join our Case Management Team, on a permanent contract, based in our Leeds office.

As a Case Manager you will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team, and responsible for managing your own caseload, advising and guiding members through the processes relevant to their cases, and instructing Legal Advisers and other experts where necessary.

This position will be expected to contribute to the on-going success of the Case Management teams, formulating strategies to best advise and assist members whilst providing a world class service.

In order to apply for role you must have previous experience of handling a full case load in a legal, medical, or insurance organisation. Candidates will preferably be degree educated, with a legal degree/ qualification highly desirable, however this is not a prerequisite for the role.

You will possess high quality oral and written communication skills, coupled with the ability to display tact and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information. IT literate with the ability to learn new in-house systems quickly, along with excellent knowledge of Windows suite software is also required.

Knowledge of professional regulatory frameworks and medical/dental terminology would be a distinct advantage but is not essential.
