This can include clinical negligence claims, complaints, medical and dental council inquiries, legal and ethical dilemmas, disciplinary procedures, inquests and fatal accident inquiries.
Our Finance Department has a requirement for an Accounting Assistant on a permanent contract based in our Leeds office.
As an Accounting Assistant you will work closely with the Accountancy & Compliance Manager in providing a quality accounting service to all departments within MPS.
As an Accounting Assistant you will be involved in various aspects of day to day accounting which will include preparation of accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, tax and non-departmental budgeting. This role will also involve cross-functional working across the organisation as well as dealing with both internal and external queries into the team
It is essential that applicants possess experience of working in a similar role in a finance function, for at least a year or more. AAT qualification, or similar, is desirable but not a prerequisite for the role.
Experience of accounting for investments and the improvement of processes and systems is a distinct advantage. Finally candidates must be able to communicate effectively at all levels and work autonomously and to tight deadlines.
