Nolonwabo Moyakhe has won the 2014 Ethics Alive MPS Undergraduate Bioethics Essay Competition with her essay on “Exploring the right to quality healthcare in South Africa”.

Congratulations to Nolonwabo Moyakhe for her winning entry in the 2014 Ethics Alive MPS Undergraduate Bioethics Essay Competition for medical students at the University of the Witwatersrand.

The winning essay, entitled “Exploring the right to quality healthcare in South Africa,” explores moves towards a nationalised healthcare system and calls for health equality for all, regardless of economic background.

Nolonwabo took home a prize of R5,000.
