Dr McKinlay has a special interest in clinician wellbeing and her r esearch draws on training with Dr Tait Shanafelt at the Stanford Medicine WellMD Center.\nDr McKinlay holds the position of senior lecturer with the School of Medicine\, University of Queensland\, Australia and was the fou nding clinical director of the Queensland Cerebral Palsy and Rehabilitatio n Research Centre in the Faculty of Medicine at The University of Queensla nd.\n In 2015 Dr McKinlay received the Children&rsquo\;s Health Queensland Australia Day Achievement Award for leadership and was a recipient of the Queensland Health Staff Excellence Silver Award for Leadership in 2004.
