The MPS Update newsletter was first developed in 2008, and is an electronic alert that is sent out to all UK members every month. This newsletter features the latest guidance, regulatory news and patient safety updates, as well as events and a Case of the Month to help raise awareness of the medicolegal issues doctors can face on a daily basis. Launched in 2011, this newsletter is designed for paediatricians and any other doctors who are often involved in managing the healthcare of children. Content includes careers advice, the most common risks in paediatrics (taken from the MPS advice line) and a case study based around a hot topic.
