Revised foundation programme curriculum

The Academy of Medical Royal Colleges (has revised its consultation document, Curriculum for the Foundation Years.

This is an update of the previous document, published in 2005. It identifies the central importance of practice-based learning and supervision. It also explains the educational framework and design model around which the curriculum is set. There are more examples of what effective implementation could look like in a range of clinical settings.
