19 Jan 2012
The Government has accepted the latest recommendations from the independent NHS Future Forum, which is calling on healthcare professionals to lead the way on patient-centred care.
The NHS Future Forum has given its second set of reports to Health Secretary Andrew Lansley – setting out a series of recommendations to improve the quality of patient care and achieve better outcomes.
The NHS Future Forum carried out conversations with health and care professionals, patients and service users and provided recommendations on education and training, information, integrated care, and the NHS’s role in the public’s health.
