Good Practice

“Good medical practice” is a broad term, covering the ways in which a doctor is expected to conduct themselves and treat their patients in a professional manner.

The GMC’s Good Medical Practice defines what is expected of you as a doctor, which, in turn, defines the structure of the way your performance will be evaluated.

Emphasis is placed on maintaining good relationships with patients, and following correct procedures if things do go wrong.

In this edition, we have brought together some advice and handy tips that will help you during your time as a GP registrar and beyond.
