Safety of Ultrasound

This meeting will look at the physical mechanisms by which diagnostic ultrasound may cause harm and will give an overview of the safety legislation. Equipment testing and equipment management policies will be reviewed with the focus on ultrasound safety. This meeting will be of interest to all those using diagnostic ultrasound clinically, those responsible for teaching and training and those concerned with managing ultrasound equipment.
