Last updated 18/05/2020 MPS has responded to draft guidance for medical students and medical schools on professional values and fitness to practise. MPS’s prominent concern was regarding the lack of mention of Medical Defence Organisations in the draft guidance, which we believe this is an oversight. In the final documents MPS would like to see MDOs mentioned as an important source of support and advice to medical students throughout their training, as well as to post-graduates and consultants.
