Martin Burns

Director of Risk and Analysis

As Director of Risk and Analysis, Martin Burns is responsible for underwriting, subscription setting, reserving, reinsurance and analysing case trends. He also has overall responsibility for maintaining and developing the decision support systems.

Martin was educated at the University of Kent at Canterbury, where he obtained a BSc (Hons) degree.

Before joining MPS, Martin worked at Prudential Assurance Company Ltd (1988 – 1996) where he undertook various roles within actuarial departments before becoming a general insurance business analyst.
