Our in-house experts assist with the wide range of legal and ethical problems that arise from professional practice. This can include clinical negligence claims, complaints, medical and dental council inquiries, legal and ethical dilemmas, disciplinary procedures, inquests and fatal accident inquiries.

Our Finance Department has a requirement for a Procurement Lead on a permanent contract based in our Leeds office.

As a Procurement Lead you will work closely with the finance leadership team to drive a sustainable and improved procurement strategy across the organisation.

This role will involve the design and delivery of procurement strategy, as well as the hands on operational responsibility for its implementation and management.

Responsibilities of the role will include leading a programme of agreed strategic procurement projects across the organisation. You will design, implement and maintain governance and assurance through the support and monitoring of all procurement activities and work with managers across the organisation to ensure the best procurement solutions are achieved.

In order to be considered for the role candidates must possess previous experience in a leadership role within a procurement function. You will have experience of formulating procurement policy and driving a commercial approach throughout an organisation, as well as a proven track record in all aspects of the procurement lifecycle including contract negotiation and supplier selection.

Ideally you will be degree educated and MCIPS qualified, but these are not prerequisites for the position. However, the ability to build effective relationships across the organisation, at all levels is a necessity.
