New healthcare clinic for Zululand

31 Oct 2011

A new healthcare facility that has recently opened in the Ulundi Municipality of Zululand will bring much needed services closer to the communities.

The Nomdiya Clinic was officially opened by King Goodwill Zwelithini, accompanied by KwaZulu-Natal Health MEC Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo, in late October 2011.

The new clinic is expected to play a major role in bringing high demand healthcare services to people who previously had to travel long distances to get the treatment they needed.

The opening of the clinic coincides with the commemoration of the 40th anniversary of King Goodwill Zwelithini’s reign of the Zulu Nation.

At the commemoration, King Goodwill Zwelithini emphasised the important role played by provincial departments in delivering quality healthcare serves for all, during his address to the community.
