New workshops

Free to MPS members as a benefit of membership

New April, May and June dates now available

Both the Mastering Your Risk and the Mastering Adverse Outcomes workshops are informed by our vast case experience and medical literature. They are targeted at providing doctors with essential skills and insights to reduce risk of claims and complaints.

Workshops can be attended in any order but it is preferable to attend Mastering Your Risk before Mastering Adverse Outcomes. You can only enrol in one workshop per programme.

MPS is committed to supporting members by providing world class education that we strongly believe can reduce your exposure to risk. MPS members can attend the Mastering Adverse Outcomes and Mastering Your Risk workshops free of charge. Non-MPS members will be charged S$290 to attend. Members of the Singapore Medical Association will be charged S$145.

MPS’s risk management education programme supports doctor’s ongoing professional development. Mastering Adverse Outcomes and Mastering Your Risk workshops are each accredited for 2 CME points.

MPS workshops are designed by doctors and medico legal experts who understand the professional challenges and pressures of modern practice. They are also presented by doctors with extensive training in communication skills and risk management.

With a maximum of 20 participants, each workshop is highly interactive, providing the opportunity for questions and open discussion on important issues.

MPS is pleased to be partnering with the Singapore Medical Association in hosting these workshops.
