Mental Capacity legislation consultation

The Joint Committee on Justice, Defence and Equality is inviting written submissions from interested groups in relation to proposals for possible inclusion in forthcoming mental capacity legislation.

The Committee will consider these written submissions and may decide to invite a number of contributors to public hearings, if they feel this is necessary.

Written submissions can be sent by email to the Clerk to the Committee at: alan.guidon@oireachtas.ie

The closing date for receipt of submissions is Friday 19 August 2011.
