How to be good
Other editions of the Medical Protection Society's GP Trainee look at well-defined subjects – confidentiality, communication skills, medical records, for example – and how they affect your time as a GP trainee.
In this issue we have taken a different approach, looking at some of the issues covered, broadly, by the term “good medical practice”. The Medical Council’s A Guide to Ethical Conduct and Behaviour defines what is expected of you as a doctor which, in turn, defines the structure of the way your performance will be evaluated.
In this issue, therefore, we have brought together some good practice advice and handy tips from the Medical Protection Society that will help you during your time as a GP trainee and beyond.
