Dental Communication Skills and Risk Management Faculty

DPL invites dentists in Hong Kong with a passion for communication skills and risk management education to apply to join the DPL Education Faculty to deliver high quality educational courses to colleagues.

Why join our faculty?

Dental Protection Limited (DPL) delivers a range of educational products through lectures, courses and publications. DPL is planning to launch specialist communication and interpersonal skills and risk management workshops to its members from 2010 in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.

Being a faculty member is an exciting, prestigious role presenting DPL’s workshops to colleagues. Workshops last for 3 hours and are designed to be interactive, challenging and entertaining. DPL, through its education faculty, seeks to be the leader in this area of education and faculty members play a pivotal role in achieving this goal.

By becoming a faculty member, you’ll receive considerable training in a number of courses and have the opportunity to deliver these courses in Hong Kong, Singapore or Malaysia.

Faculty positions available in the following areas:

• Communication skills
• Risk management.

Successfully selected dentists will join a pool of colleagues available for training in selected workshops, with work commissioned on an as-needed basis. Usually a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks notice will be given when workshops are required to be facilitated.

Important information

Applicants who are shortlisted will need to be available for:

• an interview by videoconference, teleconference or Skype-video 
• a face to face meeting where you will be able to meet the selection team and demonstrate your skills as a presenter. All travel costs for this day will be met by DPL according to its standard remuneration policies.
