Dr Brian Charles

MPS Consultant

Dr Brian Charles' background is in accident and emergency consultancy, through experience gained at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) in Barbados (1997 to 2007). Here, he became Head of Department from 2000 to 2004, and later, Director of Medical Services until 2008.

He received his BSc (Hons), MBBS, MSc, D.M (Emerg Med) and SCM from the University of the West Indies.

Brian also acts as a Consultant for the Caribbean region of the American Heart Association. In addition, he is an Executive Director of the Sandy Crest Medical Centre in Barbados. He was awarded a Silver Crown of Merit in the 2008 national awards for his contribution to emergency medicine.
